Around 45,000 visitors, a plus of 30 percent against 2014, informed themselves from June 21 to 24 about the future of production with deep insights into the possibilities of digitalization, human-robot collaboration and professional service robotics. 839 exhibitors from 47 countries represented their products and solutions this year. So AUTOMATICA established itself as the leading international trade fair for automation and mechatronics. One-third of the visitors came from foreign countries.
The Blumenbecker Group displayed its robotics and automation solutions on 120 square meters. Next to the BIN PICKING solution was a working palletising station for cardboard packaging on site. “What makes the station special is a gripper we designed and built ourselves, which doesn’t damage the cartons during handling,” explains Dariusz Rybarski, Managing Director of Blumenbecker Engineering Holding GmbH.
Many of those attending the trade fair stopped to enquire about Blumenbecker’s innovative solutions and some stayed on to talk longer. They were also impressed with the comprehensive range of services available. “We provide a comprehensive range of services from offline programming and custom-made tools to installation, commissioning and maintenance,” says Rybarski.
The next AUTOMATICA will take place in Munich from June 19 to 22, 2018.
